Some graphical issues may be related to old or outdated graphical drivers, make sure these are up to date from the manufacturer website. If you are experiencing weird behavior and are using the most recent Java, try reinstalling Minecraft (see below). Headless (GUI-less) versions obviously can not run the game. On GNU/Linux, OpenJDK works as well but is not supported by Mojang. Make sure the player is running the latest version of Java 16.
